A Schedule of Condition will protect your interests against false claims of damage, protecting you in the event that an adjoining property is damaged after works are complete. 

  • Protection from claims of damage: A neighbouring property owner could make unscrupulous claims of damage, which could result in your paying thousands, even if it wasn’t your fault. So, a Schedule of Condition will protect from you this, ensuring your bases are covered.
  • Party Wall Matters: If your neighbour plans to carry out work under the Party Wall Act, then a Schedule of Condition will be an important part of the process, as the type of works covered are those, which are most likely to cause damage.

At Westville Associates, we offer two types of Schedule of Condition Reports:

The most comprehensive pre construction works inspection report money can be. The report will include a full written record of areas in the property that are in close proximity to where the works are being held. It also includes a full photographic record that can be referred back to in the event of an issue or Party Wall Dispute. 

The report provides full photographic records of the areas of the property within close proximity to where the works are being taken. The images will form part of a surveyor’s report.
